Doctors for the NHSDFNHS has members from all branches of medicine. We believe NHS services are being marketised, with over 25 years of legislation aimed at creating a 'market'. That repeated re-organisations have taken the NHS from its publicly funded, provided, and accountable roots. That all sections of the NHS are now under unparallelled pressure which is affecting services, training, and medical education alike. And that the NHS is being dismantled and could not be re-created. We believe in service and co-operation rather than market forces and competition. We believe that the NHS is the world's greatest example of a society wanting to provide care for the sick, for the whole world to see. We will work with anyone who shares our aims.
